 udents attending this training must be certified Strategies &amp\; Tactics
  of Patrol Stops Instructors. This advanced level class will be both physi
 cally and mentally challenging\, and the STOPS Instructor will need to ove
 rcome multiple obstacles to win the battle.\n&nbsp\;\nWhat will the studen
 t learn?\n\nApproach patterns on traffic stops with a concentration on dyn
 amics of utilizing angles to counter assaults.\nEnvironment and bystander 
 awareness (terrain concerns and escape avenues)\, controlling space.\nHow 
 to escape from Ambush Positions.\nHow to determine between a Low-Risk and 
 Unknown-Risk traffic stop.\nProper placement of violator(s) and backup uni
 ts.\nCase law pertinent to police use of force vehicle stops.\n\nWhat will
  the STOPS Instructor be required to do?\n\nApply tactics learned during S
 TOPS certification and successfully make shoot or don't shoot decisions wh
 ile overcoming fatigue and a stressful training atmosphere\nDetermine\, ma
 ke adjustments between a Low-Risk and Unknown-Risk traffic stop.\nAbility 
 to be confronted by single and multiple opponents in a realistic scenario 
 for police officers while utilizing force on force training weapons.\nMain
 tain a controlled environment\, while bystanders attempt to distract\, rec
 ord\, and control a traffic stop.\nConsider multiple threats at one time m
 aking split-second decisions within the Graham Standard of objectively rea
 sonable force. This training method increases the real-world dynamics of c
 ontinually evolving high-stress situations.\nExamine their mindset and ide
 ntify areas where they hesitate physically and psychologically during high
 -stress scenarios.\nSuccessfully address threat(s)\, gain compliance or co
 ntrol\, maintain situational awareness and mental clarity during these pra
 ctical exams.\nThis course is a hands-on outdoor activity to keep the stud
 ent engaged and interested in learning concepts to enhance his/her ability
  to seek out the criminal element\, quickly identify it\, and be prepared

  and will challenge the student to consider their personal\, physical\, an
 d psychological vulnerability and then adapt for that and overcome any adv
 ersity or threat they are approached with.\nPhysically DemandingASILF is a
  tactical course that will require high levels of physical exertion. You w
 ill leave dirty\, exhausted\, and ultimately fired up about what you just 
 completed!\nMentally ChallengingThis course will challenge the student to 
 physically and mentally fight without ceasing during scenarios that they m
 ay feel or too intense or overwhelming. They will use technique and mental
  mindsets to expand their current understanding of tactical counters to li
 fe-threatening situations.\nCore BuildingThe student will be given proven 
 techniques to counter assaults that will mentally and physically prepare t
 hem for victory in battle if implemented as instructed.\n\nStudent Take Aw
 ay\n\nA greater understanding of strategies and tactics to counter vehicle
  approach ambushes and planned assaults on officers.\nIdentified core tech
 niques to identify\, improve\, and master their tactical skills\, leaving 
 them prepared for victory.\nProven training that imparts very tactical min
 dsets and movements into a student-level course for successfully applying 
 these strategies into real-world police encounters.\n\nCourse Accreditatio
 n/Certification/Completion\n\nThe student will receive a certificate of co
 urse completion.\n\nCourse Hours\n\n(1 day) 7-hour course.\nNo Re-certific
 ation is required.\n\nRequired Course equipment\nAttending students will n
 eed to be enrolled individually online. The student will be required to pr
 ovide proof of employment either by credentials\, work verified email or a
 uthorization from their agency's training coordinator. All students must b
 e on duty and not forced to attend the training course. Students will be r
 equired to complete several liability waivers\nStudents are required to br
 ing the following equipment with them to class.\n\n100 rounds of training 
 ammo for their duty-issued handgun. &nbsp\;\nDepartment-issued or approved
  bulletproof vest that is not expired.\nOSHA approved Eye and ear protecti
 on.\nDuty positioning of their weapon\, either full belt or side holster\,
  but must be what they wear daily. &nbsp\;This training is for how they en
 counter assailants on a daily basis which is why uniform of the day (weapo
 n placement only) is required. &nbsp\;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n\n**No live weapons
 \, chemical agents\, or intermediate weapons are allowed in the training a
