Pro Train Inc. is a northern Indiana based Law Enforcement Training company. A multidisciplinary company, Pro Train has created and uses traditional classroom training situations, next generation audio-visual and electronic presentations, and actual field deployment scenarios to produce a robust, in depth learning experience for the students.

Our Mission
Pro Train instructors will install a winning mindset in the student officer.
This objective will be accomplished through intense, realistic, tactical training.
Training will be mentally and physically challenging.

Our Focus

Pro Train training is focused on specific areas of Law Enforcement where specialized training counts, and is put to use on a regular basis. Our courses are not typical classroom chat sessions and "war stories". Our courses engage the student into hands on, reality based training scenarios that will help the student retain the knowledge and provide the chance to demonstrate and retain the knowledge they learn.

Face it, academies teach you the basics. Officers quickly find Law Enforcement is far more diverse than the basics. This is where Pro Train classes come in to bridge that gap. With practical and focused training courses. From instructors who are active duty Law Enforcement officers.

Ron Hantz

is a Patrol Sergeant with the Mishawaka IN Police Department.

Ron has been a law enforcement officer since 1993. Ron has attended over 3500 hours of advanced police training in numerous topics. Ron is  certified field training officer, and currently is the Field Training Unit Manager for the Mishawaka Police Department.

Ron has advanced training and experience in SWAT operations, crash investigations, as well as being a Drug Recognition Expert. Ron has been a martial arts student since 1994, in several disciplines of martial arts. Ron has instructed more then 2500 police officers in the State of Indiana. Ron is totally committed to preparing officers to survive the streets. Ron is a certified Instructor Generalist and Physical Tactics Instructor through the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board. Ron is currently a member of the ST. Joseph County Metro Fatal Alcohol Crash Team as a Drug Recognition Expert.
